These pots can be made to sound like any of the banjos that I
reproduce. For now, only the nickel hardware is available. All
you need is a neck and its hardware, a resonator and its
hardware and case. I will supply the parts you see in the
picture;
Yates Thermal Aged red maple rim, strips installed in the
bottom (not under the tone ring), stamped YatesAGED and label.
Flange, tension hoop, hooks and nuts, arm rest, coordinator
rods, set of strings, two neck lags, four L-brackets with screws,
Remo high crown head, all parts distressed, Presto tail piece
and hand turned Yates vintage tone ring (made to fit the sound you need).
These pots are copies of very special banjos. Earl's, RB-75,
RB-3 including Banger, RB-4, the last Granada (no gold plating
right now). More soon. Pots are built to order.
No V33 rings are part of this.
The basic price $2,850.00 sold in the USA only. Add shipping.

So what are strips in the rims? The old three ply rims often are
mistaken as five ply rims. In fact the strips were added for
reasons that I will not discuss. They were installed in a way
that it was often hard to tell that they were there.
Here is and example of how I build them.
